The opportunity to play football for a high school team at such a young age is great. On January 26, the seventh grade team were able to celebrate all the winning they had that season. They had achieved so much. Being the only team they made it to the championships and won over all. Coach Ahyou said “These little athletes pushed themselves that all of their hard work paid off”. As these young athletes were joined, and many were awarded for their hard work. Many were recognized for their amazing season. Jayden Ahyou was one of the many awarded. Jayden was awarded for having more than 80 tackles during the season, and is the highest in the league. Being only 12 years old Jayden is on the All American football team. This is a huge accomplishment for a child who is just out of elementary school. He would not have got there without his amazing team. Jayden thanks his team for helping him accomplish his goal.
Another athlete recognized is named Junior Teaupa. He was recognized for having the most yards per carry in the league. Junior was also ranked highest in the league for overall player. Junior thanks his family for coming to his games. The young Bruins have had an amazing season, and hope to only get better as they continue.
