On April 22nd the Mountain View Bruins went against the Timpview Thunderbirds and won 11-3. The first inning Timpview got the first runs in, and then the Bruins were unable to score a run. But then during the second inning the Bruins started to hit the ball and scored three runs with a home run from Riley Sinma. During the third inning, Timpview was unable to score with amazing defense from Connor Hatch, a new third baseman. Then in the fourth, the Bruins stayed strong and kept Timpview at two runs.The Bruins began to hit again and were able to score eight runs that inning. The fifth inning was scoreless. During the sixth, Timpview began to hit and scored one run on the Bruins. The Bruins were unable to score the sixth inning. Then MV held Timpview off during the seventh to end the game. Mountain View are looking forward to the rest of the season and have hopes for state playoffs. The next game is against Timpanogos.
