The Homecoming game between the Mountain View Bruins and the Provo Bulldogs was one of the most important Mountain View games of the year. Before the game the Choir from Mountain View sang the national anthem honoring the people who lost their lives during the 9/11 tragedy. During the First half the Bruins played an amazing game. The Bruin defense refused to give up, allowing only one touchdown making the score at the end of the first quarter 7-0 Provo, but Bruin offense couldn’t pull it together to score a point, making it a hard game for the offence.
During the second quarter the Bruins played hard, and would not let the Provo offence score keeping the game 7-0 Provo. During halftime the homecoming nominees from the different clubs were presented and shown as they walked across the field.
During the final quarter of the game the Mountain View Bruins started fall apart and the Bulldogs took advantage scoring the first touchdown since the first quarter making the game 14-0 Provo. Then in quick succession Provo managed to score several times making it 34-0 Provo. After this the Bruins got their act together and managed to stop the roll the Provo Bulldogs were on. The final score was 34-0 Provo.
