On the 10th of December at the Provo Rec Center the Mountain View Bruins swam against the Provo BullDogs. One of the top placing Bruins was Lauren VaughAn, who got first in the women’s 200 Backstroke. Junior, Tate Pitcher got 3rd in the 500 freestyle race. The Bruins had a lot of high placing athletes at this early Provo meet. Isaac Robinson got 2nd in the meet. When the Bruins started the season almost none of their swimmers were able to place, but this meet the Bruins had multiple swimmers get first and even more place in the top 3. Tony Puertas got 1st in his race helping the Bruins to finish with 2 first place swimmers. This is a higher number than any other meet this season. When the Bruins started this season the swim team looked like they wouldn’t perform very well, but this meet looks to be proving the opposite.
