At SLCC on Friday, Mountain View was defeated by Sky View, 65-45. The Bruins played tough through the first quarter, and were only outscored by two points, 10-8. That’s as close as the Bruins would get though. The undefeated Bobcats outscored the Bruins 37-11 throughout the next two quarters to get the win. Here at Mountain View on Tuesday, February 10th, the visiting Timberwolves pulled out a narrow victory winning 61-60. The Bruins led by one at the half 27-26, but unfortunately were unable to come away with the so deserved triumph. The Timberwolves were led by Caiden Brown who tallied 10 points and 10 rebounds. The Bruins had a balanced scoring attack led by McKnight, Bateman and Fairbanks, totalling 18, 18 and 16 points respectively. Even though the Bruins were so close to tasting the conquest, Timpanogas was just too much for us that day. But Bruin Crazies came out with their heads held high and supported valiantly, tallying more than 500 student supporters.
