The students of Mountain View high school recently received school ID cards. Many eager students reached to receive their cards only to be strangled and drowned in disappointment. The cards are so flimsy and thin that the students are wondering if the school is really that cheap to not get actual cards this year. Student Ali Bradbury stated, “These cards are just pieces of paper heavily laminated. They are such bad quality, I can barely see my face!” Students have already noticed intense scratching on the cards, so much that the picture can barely be seen. On the back of these student ID “cards” is the “I’m a Bruin Card” stamp boxes. The red ink of the “I’m a Bruin Card” is already fading. Does the school really not care about students? First they took away the opportunity to talk to teachers to fix grades and collaboration time, Flex, and now they are handing out cheap flimsy laminated paper. Seniors can’t wait to get out of this school due to these new changes and the school’s overall disrespect for student opinion.
