As the new year approaches, teachers and staff at Mountain View are beginning to make their resolutions. Mr. Prestwich, the head custodian at Mountain View, disregarded his New Year's resolutions saying, “I ain’t changing nothing for nobody.”
Dr. Chun, the school principal said that his goal was to lose 10 pounds. “That’s not anything fantastic, but that’s one.”
Mr. Criman expressed the sentiment that it’s “so hard to modify perfection.” He then expressed desire to maintain his life so Grant Stowell won’t take over the drama department.
The attendance office also had some goals for the New Year. Ms. Burgi said that she hopes to be more organized.
“Be kinder, be more organized, and love all mankind,” commented Mr. Bowman on his New Year's resolutions.
Many of the teachers expressed that they have yet to really think about their resolutions. Mrs. Freytag said “I have not even thought that far yet. I’m still working up to Christmas.”
The New Year is coming quickly and the year 2017 is an opportunity for many to set some new goals.
