    Sweater Weather!

The leaves are changing color, the temperature is dropping and Timp already has a white cap. That means your wardrobe needs an update to long-sleeve shirts, jackets, fuzzy socks, comfy boots and my personal favorite, sweaters! However, today’s fashion can get confusing and pricey and winter discounts won’t be available until spring.

Before we get into the great deals around Orem, let’s talk fashion. We all have those days when we don’t care and are perfectly content with wearing sweats, a huge hoodie and a messy updo. But for the days when we put forth some effort, here are some tips.

  1. Try not to wear baggy apparel on both top and bottom. If you wear sweats, wear something more fitting on top, like a long sleeve shirt/cardigan and a scarf or a fitting short-sleeve shirt with a little jacket.

  2. If you’re wearing reverse, and are more into sweatshirts and hoodies, wear leggings or jeggings on bottom with knee length socks and boots.

  3. If you want to deal with the cold and just look nice, some skinny jeans with a long-sleeve shirt and scarf would suffice, with anything from converse to knee high boots. We could talk about matching and contrast but that’s your personal judgement of style.

Some of the University Mall’s most popular clothing stores (Wet Seal, Forever 21, Deb, etc.) are having pretty good deals but not just on the outgoing summer collection. These stores are great for buying cute and reasonably priced fall deals.

There are so many different styles to work and play around with. Mix and match, and find a reason to enjoy the style that comes with cooler temperatures!
