Mountain View Preps For Break, Christmas Assembly

       The school’s Christmas assembly is going to be on Friday, December 15th in the auditorium.
    Students will be able to see some of the performing art programs entertain with some holiday dances, songs and instrumental Music. 
      “This has been a tradition at MVHS, for as long as I can remember” said Mr. Bowman, the orchestra and band director.
       The band and orchestra are performing “Sleigh Ride,” “Polar Express” and more. 
      Orchesis is going to perform two dances called “Deneig,” which means snowflake and another dance called “Angels among us.”
      There will be more dances performed by the other dance companies as well. 
      Chamber Choir is singing their traditional “Fruit Cake” song. Mr. Taylor said that he “hates this song, it’s atrocious ... and they know how I feel, but they still do it anyways.” 
     A capella is also singing some Christmas songs.
