There has been a big debate rising lately over a pretty heavy topic that has been debated for a long time. This time it's about guns and school. This last week, texas joined some of the other states in allowing its students to carry concealed weapons on public college campus. Other states including Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Oregon, and few others. Many people were very happy on texas passing the law, but others were not. Many said this would make campus safer and could help prevent any sort of attack if the attackers knew that students were carrying. Others, say it causes way for a students to potentially harm other students and could take away other students freedom of speech when they could already be on tense topics. But many Anti Gun Zones haven't actually seen the facts of what this is. So let's break it down, first off in order to possess a concealed carry license you must reach the age of 21, which on most campuses is less than 5% of student body. Next they must take and pass a concealed carry course that would test their mental ability, shooting ability, and other key tests. If the student is 21 and has a license to carry concealed then the student must still pass a test at the college and get a permit to carry on campus. What many mistake this for is that everyone is going to start carrying, when in reality less than 2% will.
