Several Bruins traveled to Layton, Utah, to compete in the state DECA competition.
Twenty-one students went and 7 of the students made top 5 in a variety of events ranging from restaurant management to vehicle marketing.
The Bruins are sending 7 students to compete in nationals.
Mason Abbott took 5th in Automotive Marketing, Jacob Bersie took 4th in Quick Service Restaurant Management. Kedrick Clayton and Tanner Fernandez took 4th in Independent Business Plan. Abby Allred took 3rd in Fashion Merchandising. Rob Harker took 2nd in Innovation Plans and Taggart Inouye took 1st in Financial Consulting Professional Selling, and Max Price took 5th place in Principles of Finance.

Seven of these students will be competing at the national level for a week, from April 24-29, in Anaheim, California.
