-Any sophomore or junior who is interested in joining the National Honor Society should see Miss Kelley in room 124 for an application. Students who are interested in joining must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.7. Students must also possess basic qualities of good character and have a desire to be involved in community service activities. The deadline to apply is Thursday, April 21st.
- Seniors who have a key card- scholarships are available- $2,000 to UVU, $1,000 to SLCC and $1,000 to Paul Mitchell. Applications are online at ktsutah.com and due to Mrs. Merrill (room 206) on April 22nd.
-Attention juniors, there is a Utah Energy Workforce scholarship program opportunity for you. If you are interested in getting more information please come and pick up a flyer at the counseling office.
-It's that time of year again. Auditions are beginning for MVHS choirs for next school year. See outside the choir room for details. Don't let fear hold you back from an unforgettable experience.
-Volleyball open gym Mondays and Thursdays 6:00 pm
-On Monday April 18th the math club will be having a meeting to prepare for their state competition and elect officers for next year. Meet in Mrs. Hulet's room after school, room 229.
-There will be a volleyball spring/summer parent meeting on Thursday, April 21st at 5:30 pm in the gym. This is for all incoming 9-12th graders and their parents.
-Attention bruins! Cheer will be holding tryouts from May 5th-6th in the new gym from 4-7 pm, so BOYS and girls come and give it a try! No experience needed! If you have any questions, just fine one of the current cheerleaders and ask! Remember, boys and girls are wanted!
-Attention seniors, if you are interested in going to the UVU application day on Friday, April 22nd please go to the guidance office and sign up.
-Nima Ki Olunga is a humanitarian organization aiming to lift the people of Tonga through service and education. We provide youth humanitarian trips to help fulfill our purpose. See Miss Kelley for further information.
-Hey bruins! Prom tickets will be on sale everyday this week during lunch. SO come by the bruin and get your tickets $30 pre-sale and $35 at the door. Also, make sure that your dress meets school standards!
-The PTSA senior scholarship is now available in the counselor's office. Please come by and grab one. Scholarships require PTSA membership and you may join at the finance office. This is your local PTSA scholarship and it is due on Friday, May 6th by 3:00 pm.
-The improv team will be having a show on 26th starting right after school inside Mr. Criman's room. It will be star wars themed, so show up if you like laughs and watching jedis become corrupted.
-Come support Mountain View at Harmon's on 800 North this Thursday. Part of the proceeds help the PTSA. At 5:00 watch Mr. Dewitt compete against the principal of Orem high! Lots of fun, see you there!

Aceilyn Brown by Mr. Clegg: Ace has been a solid scholar all year, the bedrock of her classroom. No eleventh hour heroics for Ace; she is ever in her seat, performing consistently. For both her aptitude and reliability, I would recommend Ace to any employer!
Cade Carlson by Mr. Jackman: Cade always comes to class with a contagious, positive attitude and smile on his face. He is always attentive and very involved in every discussion. He is a wonderful student and is a great friend to everyone around him.
