FAFSA Night: Seniors! Are you looking for help to pay for college? This Thursday, February 9th from 5-8 pm, MVHS is hosting a FAFSA night. Come and get help finishing your free application for Federal Student Aid. Anyone who comes will also get a "Golden Ticket" to apply for $3,000 in FAFSA scholarships. The Rose Sale: The Rose Sale starts this week and goes until February 10th, the Friday before Valentines. "Remember, a rose a day keeps the bros away." Roses can be ordered during lunch at The Bear Necessities.
Ultimate Frisbee: There is a MANDATORY meeting this Friday during lunch for anyone that is interested in playing ultimate frisbee! Ugly Book Contest: Let's face it. Not all books are created equal when it comes to physical attractiveness. So now if your choice to judge a book by it's cover! The contest is simple: Look through the shelves & find what you think is the ugliest book in the library. Deadline to enter is this Friday, February 10th. Voting will take place next week to determine 2017's Ugliest Book in the library. Winner will receive a giant bag of Valentine's candy.
Girls State 2017: This is for all 11th grade girls. It is time to sign up for Girls State! Girls State is a week-long event at Weber State, where you get to learn how state government works. You will run for office, make laws, and work with girls from all over the state. This is a great leadership experience to add to your college applications too. The application deadline is March 1st, 2017. If you want an application, please see Mrs. Sanders in the Counseling Office. Don't miss this great leadership opportunity!
