Summary: Thor loses his hammer and ends up on a planet called Sakaar. He must escape with Bruce Banner, put together his own team, and save Asgard from Hela.
We haven't seen Chris Hemsworth as Thor or Mark Ruffalo as Hulk since the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron, as they failed to make an appearance in Captain America: Civil War.
Marvel fans are excited to see them return, but this time in Hunt for the Wilderpeople style with director Taika Waititi.
Is this film the best of the Thor trilogy? Well, you'll just have to wait and see.
The first two Thor movies are decent, but not the best of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Tom Hiddleston returns as Loki in Thor: Ragnarok. It's so funny that Loki is scared of the Hulk after what he did to him at the end of The Avengers.
The direction from Taika Taititi, the director of Hunt for the Wilderpeople, is very stylish.
The humor is so funny, like the humor in Guardians of the Galaxy and the other Marvel movies. The Marvel franchise has a lot of great comedy.
There are a lot of cameos in this movie - Stan Lee, as usual, the creator of Marvel comics; Matt Damon; Sam Neill; and Luke Hemsworth, one of Chris Hemsworth's brothers. Stan Lee's cameo is funny and he keeps living up with Marvel.
The movie had a better storyline than that of its predecessor, Thor: The Dark World, and the ending of the movie led perfectly to Avengers: Infinity War, which will come out in 2018.
The action scenes in the movie are great, and the Led Zeppelin song, the Immigrant Song, is the perfect song to put in a few action scenes.
jhe acting is really good from Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Jeff Goldblum, Leesa Thompson, Cate Blanchett, Karl Urban, Idris Elba and Anthony Hopkins. Most of the actors steal the show during their time on screen. Benedict Cumberbatch played Doctor Strange and had a cameo for 3-5 minutes, which is great and funny. Cate Blanchett is the perfect actress to play the antagonist in the movie. It's a little disappointing that Natalie Portfman from the first two Thor movies did not return in this movie, but otherwise, the cast is perfect.
The visual effects are very colorful to look at and as stunning as the previous Marvel movies.
In this critic's opinion, Thor: Ragnarok is the best one of the Thor trilogy and another great movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It's worth seeing for Marvel fans.
