Having Senoritis? I think we all are at this point. The last few months of senior year and we get to spend it in quarantine. If you didn’t have senioritis before, you do now. All the traditional graduation parties and walking the carpet with hundreds of people are going to be different this year. So when all this quarantine craziness is over, what are the seniors plans for continuing in their life after high school?
When asked what their plans after high school were Renae Reid said, “For the summer, I really just want to make up for lost time with my friends, as well as get a job and learn more about my career choice so I can be prepared for college. The rest of my life is still up in the air, other than my college choices as well as a mission. I'm kinda trying to find out what I like.” When asked why Renae said, “I made the career choice to go into website and software development as a way to use my love of the arts and creative thinking in a way that could actually be profitable. I want to go on a mission for religious reasons, and I'm not really sure what else to say... I think I'm most excited just to go out into the world as my own person, and not just as someone's younger sibling or someone's daughter.”
Jessica Campbell said, “I plan to go to Dixie State University to study chemistry and hopefully go into chemical engineering.” When asked why she said, “Because I love chemistry and hope to work at Younique someday in the chemical department! I’m excited to create new formulas and products!”
What fun! Everyone has their own plans of what they want to do after high school. Should we as seniors be scared of life after high school? Maybe, but at this point we are ready to move on.
