Playing every second on every radio station across the country, Taylor Swift and her new song ‘Bad Blood’ is taking an interesting turn with local boy band, Mile High Drive. The band was found filming their soon to be released cover of ‘Bad Blood’ Saturday, August 23 near Utah Lake. On set directing was multi-million-view producer, Dan Wilson. “This video is going to be big,” says Wilson. “The visual aspect of the video is basic but the band’s version of the song is very unique and even better than the original! I’m excited to see the turnout of this one!” Past music videos have been fairly successful for the band, having received over 6K views total from MKTO’s ‘Heartbreak Holiday’ and Blondie’s ‘One Way or Another’. When asked about the new video, band member Colt Hopkins says, “Wrapping up this video was intense! We just got done smashing glass and raising all kinds of havoc. Prepare to see Mile High Drive through a new lense!” Band member Remi Peatross speaks about the video’s theme. “After recording the song in L.A., we were inspired by the amount of ‘outsiders’ there--so we decided to bring an Outsiders look and feel back with us for the video.” As of yet, the video and song have no official release date but will be available on iTunes, Google Play, and YouTube September 2015.
