An angelic sound hummed through Mountain View’s auditorium on October 8th as each of the choirs, as well as some guest instrumentalists, performed an abundance of Gloria text. Mr. Taylor, the choir teacher, chose a series of choral pieces all having a similar theme; Glory to God in the highest. The music performed by Man Choir, Symphonic Voices, Chamber Choir, Con Brio, Concert Choir, and Acapella was enough to bring tears to the audience’s eyes. Disregarding the difference in melody or tempo, the songs were different solely because each choir translated the music in their own way. Allowing the crowd to receive the emotion that each individual performer put into the performance. Mr. Taylor and his glorious choir classes did nothing short of turning the ordinary auditorium into a majestic Cathedral.
