As many of you may have noticed many styles from past eras are making a very strong comebacks.
It’s been called “Grunge”, “Indie”, “Vaporwave” and, “The New Aesthetic.”
Why? Many things out of past eras are incredible and often used today but, just as many or more have been left in the past for a reason.
In fashion and music we have the 90’s especially making a big comeback with wash jeans, leather, capri’s, Nirvana, Weezer and much worse all mixed in with it. But again, why? Forever 21, H&M and tons of other companies and businesses are making ridiculous amounts of money because of this silly throwback trend.
Really I am at a loss for words, if you can’t tell, this blast from the past that has become a full blown cultural revolution of sorts, it’s ridiculous. Why are so many terrible things that should stay dead and gone coming back with gusto to plague the younger generation. I cannot wrap my head around how it’s unfolding. What makes an individual desire to be a part of an outdated era that most people are trying to forget?
As I have stated in the rest of this article, I cannot fathom why or how these styles, artists and images are making such a forceful impact on this current high school generation.
Maybe it’s because it smells like teen spirit.
Anything? No. Okay, I’ll see you around.
