The timp relays are a very informal local meet held at timpanogos every year. At the timp relays every event is a relay meaning you need 4 athletes to compete as a team handing of a baton like in the traditional 4X100. Mountain View had trouble putting teams together for this middle of the week meet but still managed to take second in the boys 300 hurdles relay, and the girls 4X800 with the girls also managing to take first in the distance medley. The relays were quite exciting this year with the american fork boys shooting for the national 4X1600 meter record only missing the record of 16:55 by a mere 6 seconds. The distance competition was fierce the whole day with the t-wolves and the cavemen battling every race for the top spot.
